Our physicians are unable to prescribe controlled
medications, including narcotics.

Please note, our doctors are unable to provide sick notes beyond a week-long absence. Thank you for understanding.
Medical Emergencies
PioneerCare MD prioritizes your health and safety above all else. We want to remind you that our services are not for medical emergencies. If you are currently facing a crisis, we suggest you dial 911 or immediately head to the emergency room closest to you. Your well-being is our top priority, and we aim to provide you with the necessary resources to keep you strong and healthy.
Disability and School Forms
There are particular disability and school forms that our physicians are not permitted to complete. Examples of such forms include WSIB and specialty disability forms, as well as school absence forms.
Backdated Sick Notes
We kindly remind our patients that doctors cannot issue sick notes for an illness already passed. For accuracy and accountability, medical notes must reflect the current state of the patient’s health. We appreciate your cooperation and wish you good health.
